On Sunday, July 31 the Ripley Church voted to APPROVE entering into financing for the completion of Phase 2 & Phase 3 of our Connect Project.
Phase
2 - Foyer Renovation. This phase helps us to put our facility in line with our mission, a mission to
'Connect' people. While it provides additional restroom space for the
ladies, the renovation of the foyer area creates 'connection' space that
encourages people to interact / develop relationships. The open, contemporary feel of the foyer
will welcome people to our 'home' and encourage people to hang around.
The first impressions of the foyer and the facilities will speak about
who we are and that we are relevant to the time in which we are living.
Phase
3 - Community Center. This phase is a challenge to how we do ministry. It will cause us to examine and
refocus our ministry paradigm. It's us saying to our immediate
community 'We're coming to you. We are investing in you." It's bringing
ministry home.
